Returns & Exchanges Policy

Policy Overview

At Access Panels Supply, we stand behind the quality of every product we offer. We understand that purchasing building materials is an important decision, and we aim to make the process as straightforward and risk-free as possible. This policy outlines how returns and exchanges are handled so you know exactly what to expect.


Return & Exchange Eligibility

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be in new, unused condition and returned in their original packaging with all components included. Products that show signs of installation, modification, or wear are not eligible for return.


Return Window

Returns and exchanges must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Requests made after this window may not be approved.


Return Shipping Responsibility

For returns initiated due to preference or ordering the wrong item, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. If a prepaid return label is provided, the cost will be deducted from the refund.

If the return is due to a defective product or an error on our part, Access Panels Supply will cover all return shipping costs.


How to Start a Return or Exchange (RMA Process)

To begin a return or exchange, please contact our support team at support@accesspanelssupply.com with your order number and reason for the request. Our team will provide instructions, including return authorization and shipping details. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue quickly.

  • Freight (LTL) shipments must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • Small parcel shipments (FedEx, UPS, USPS) must be reported within 15 days of delivery

Photos of the damage and packaging may be required to process a claim.


Cancellations

Orders may be canceled for a full refund if the request is made before the item has shipped. Once an order has been processed and shipped, it will fall under the standard return policy.


Refund Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Original shipping costs are refunded when applicable.


Our Error vs. Customer-Initiated Returns

If a return is due to our error—such as receiving the wrong item or a defective product—we take full responsibility, including return shipping and replacement costs.

For customer-initiated returns, such as ordering the wrong size or no longer needing the product, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Exchanges Process

Exchanges are handled as a return followed by a replacement order. Customers are responsible for both return shipping and the cost of shipping the replacement item, unless the exchange is due to a defective or incorrect product.
