KRP-150FR Fire Rated Access Door for Walls and Ceilings
The KRP-150FR is a universal fire rated access door designed for installation in walls and ceilings where fire resistance is required. Built for durability and code compliance, this access panel helps maintain the integrity of fire-rated assemblies while providing convenient access to concealed building systems.
Constructed from heavy-gauge steel and filled with fire-rated insulation, the KRP-150FR is ideal for commercial and residential applications requiring safe access to plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
KEY FEATURES
- Rated for 1.5 hours in walls (UL “B” label)
- Rated up to 3 hours in ceilings (Warnock Hersey)
- 16 gauge steel frame
- 20 gauge welded door panel
- 2” fire-rated insulated core
- Continuous piano hinge (exposed)
- Self-closing, self-latching door
- Keyed paddle latch with interior release
- Powder-coated, rust-inhibitive finish
