Product Description
The KDW Flush Drywall Access Door is designed for drywall wall and ceiling applications where a concealed, flush appearance is desired. This model features a galvanized drywall bead frame that allows drywall joint compound to be applied directly over the flange, helping the access door blend seamlessly into surrounding drywall surfaces.
Constructed with a heavy-duty 16 gauge steel frame and 14 gauge steel door, the KDW provides durability and long-lasting performance for commercial and residential applications. The textured drywall bead frame improves drywall compound adhesion while maintaining a clean finished appearance.
The flush screwdriver-operated stud catch keeps the panel secure while maintaining a low-profile design. The removable door and pin hinge construction provide convenient access to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems hidden behind drywall walls and ceilings.

Installation
Designed specifically for drywall wall and ceiling installations. The prepunched drywall bead flange mounts directly to framing members using drywall screws. Drywall joint compound is then applied over the textured galvanized drywall bead frame to conceal the flange and create a clean flush finish. The access door provides convenient access while blending into finished drywall surfaces.
